🎉Welcome to the #20for20 Art Challenge🎉
You’re in!
Over 20 days, you’ll be building one of the most powerful habits an artist can have: showing up consistently.
The idea behind the challenge is simple.
For 20 days, you’ll spend 20 minutes a day working on your art.
That’s it.
No marathon studio sessions. No pressure to create a masterpiece. Just a small daily commitment that helps you build momentum and reconnect with your creative practice.
Quick Housekeeping
Sometimes emails get caught in spam or trash filters. If you haven’t gotten anything, first search your email for your receipt and confirmation by searching for the email address.
If you can’t find it, head into your spam filter and look for it. (You have to go directly into your spam filter. It won’t show up through search.)

What Happens Next
The painting and drawing part of the Challenge runs October 1-20th.
But before the challenge begins, we’ll spend a little time getting ready.
Starting on September 21st, you’ll receive a handful of emails that walk you through the preparation process step by step. Each message will focus on one small piece of the setup so that by the time the challenge begins, everything is in place.
We’ll cover things like:
• choosing a simple project
• deciding when your 20 minutes will happen
• gathering your materials
• doing a quick test run
None of this takes long. The goal is simply to remove any friction so starting the challenge feels easy.
Join the Challenge Space
The challenge itself takes place inside the Art Habit Community. You’ll have access starting September 21st.
This is where participants:
• share their daily work
• ask questions
• encourage each other
• follow along with the challenge
After September 21, if you haven’t already joined, you can access the community here:
A Quick Note About the Challenge
You don’t need the perfect project.
You don’t need the perfect materials.
All you need is 20 minutes.
Some days will feel easy. Some days won’t. The important thing is simply showing up and doing a little bit of work.
Over time, those small sessions add up in ways that often surprise people.
Keep an Eye on Your Email
Starting September 21st, I’ll be sending a few short notes over the next few days to help you get set up and ready for the challenge.
Each message will guide you through one small step so that when Day 1 arrives, you’re ready to begin.
For now, hang tight. Everything opens up September 21st and then we get started with Prep Week!
